The Sequoia Union High School District (SUHSD) is preparing for a smooth transition back to school for full, in-person instruction for all of our students.  Under the current guidelines and health conditions, students will be on campus full-time, five days a week, with full (pre-covid) instructional minutes. The first day of school is August 11, 2021.

This plan was developed in compliance with state and local guidelines. Health officials continue to learn about COVID-19, its variants, and the efficacy of vaccines on various populations. Given the unprecedented nature of all these developments, most guidance is not meant to be permanent. As with the California Department of Public Health and San Mateo Public Health Department, our District will continue to reassess and reevaluate our protocols and mandates as the school year continues.

Updated guidance may be available as soon as November 1, 2021, if not sooner. As more information is gathered, SUHSD will continue to update its plan and keep staff and parents informed.
