On April 5, 2017, the District and Superintendent executed Employment Agreement for the period commencing on the July 1, 2017, and ending on June 30, 2020.  Pursuant to Addendum Number One dated January 16, 2019, the term of the agreement was extended to June 30, 2021. Local Control Accountability Formula Plan (Approved)

At the June 12, 2019, Board Meeting, both a public hearing and information presentation were provided for the proposed adoption of the 2019-20 Sequoia Union High School District Local Accountability Plan (LCAP).  Except for some minor grammatical and budget edits, the attached LCAP document is the same plan discussed at the June 12, 2019, Board meeting. In addition, also attached is the LCAP Addendum "A" presented to the Board on June 12.

Adopted 2019-20 Budget (Approved)

The District's budget for 2019-20 is ready for adoption and submission to the San Mateo County Office of Education.  Once the Official Budget is adopted, it will be sent to the County Office of Education for evaluation before being forwarded to the State.

The Budget Assumptions included in the Multi-year Revenue and Expenditure Projections are based on State funding information as of the May Revise and preliminary data from the State Budget bill.  The multi-year projection, however, does not include any potential settlement costs collective bargaining as negotiations are going to continue in the fall.

School Site Plans (Approved)

Last school year, the District moved to using a new format for school plan presentations:  the California Department of Education's recommended Single Plan for Student Achievement Template.  Comprised of school goals that mirror the schools' Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) reports' Critical Student Learning Needs, and tied to the District's Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP); the template continues to move the District towards greater cohesion.

Attached you will find a copy of school plans being presented as well as the presentations themselves.  The presentations can also be previewed by visiting this link.

Governance Calendar (Approved)

The Governance Calendar has been developed to reflect the Board's governance priorities as well as the Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) goals. However, it does not yet reflect the Board's recent work to prioritize the superintendent's goals.

The Superintendent recommends that Board members review the Governance Calendar for 2019-2020 and provide input that aligns with the recent development the Board's priority goals. The calendar will be revised to reflect input and brought for action on August 7th.
