COVID-19 Case & Vaccination Rate Dashboard

All reported and confirmed positive COVID-19 cases related to Sequoia Union High School District sites will be posted to this webpage.
For the purposes of this dashboard, please note the following:
  • The case count reflects confirmed cases that are reported to SUHSD.
  • Not all cases reported on this dashboard were on a district site during the infectious period, which creates a discrepancy between case counts and notifications.
  • SUHSD counts a case during the week in which it is confirmed by SUHSD Health Staff in collaboration with San Mateo County Health before listing the case on this dashboard, even if the case is from earlier dates. This could result in a delay of cases appearing on this dashboard.
  • Not all case transmission occurred on campus, if any.
  • All cases are confidential per FERPA and OSHA guidelines.
    • Information regarding individuals with COVID-19 symptoms, close contacts with someone who is COVID-19 positive, or individuals who have tested positive for the coronavirus, is sensitive, confidential information. Names will not be released.
  • During the school year, the dashboard will be updated weekly by the end of day Friday.
While the vaccination percentages in the Dashboard below are self-reported responses (see note below), a recent California Department of Public Health Department order requires teachers, school district staff, and volunteers to verify they are vaccinated or undergo weekly testing for COVID-19. Although the deadline to comply with this health order is Oct. 15, 2021, SUHSD will begin collecting this information the week of September 27th. Once available, the verified vaccination percentages will be updated in the COVID Dashboard below.
NOTE: the Vaccinated percentage rate is equal to the total number of vaccinated staff members divided by the total responses received. As of September 21, 2021, 75% of all district staff members have responded.
