The Academy Program is a unique partnership between public education and the private sector to provide technical and academic training to high school students. The students gain hands-on experience with computers in a unique school-within-a-school setting and have the opportunity to work with mentors from the high-tech industry. Academies have been established at Carlmont, Menlo-Atherton, Sequoia and Woodside High Schools.
The Career Fair is annual event where the Academies' mentors, industry partners, and education partners come together to help prepare students for success in the work world. Students participate in mock interviews with industry professionals and structured career and college exploration activities.
