We're anxious to ensure that this and future items are included.  ENotes is
a critical piece of a broader communications plan that we've developed to
promote our upcoming on-line auction.  Since this is the first time for this
fundraiser, it's a challenge to generate broad awareness among the school
community, and eNotes is the perfect vehicle because it allows us to slowly
build excitement with brief but informative messages.  We know we can't rely
on just one or two messages to get the word out.  After running an
introductory message for a week, we now plan a series featuring different
items each time.  In a couple of weeks, we'll announce the opening of the
auction website including a link (It's still under construction, but you can
get a preview at www.maauction.org), and encourage people to view the
on-line catalog.  Finally, during the week prior to the auction, we'll count
down to the opening and provide specifics about timing and bidding.
