 On June 9, the library opens for summer and you can check out textbooks

THE YEARBOOK ARE HERE!
Yearbooks were sold and distributed during lunch and after 6th period on
Friday in Room G-7. If you've reserved your book already, you can still
get them.  Bring your ID to room G7. If you're not sure if you've
reserved, check the list in Pride Hall. We have a limited number of
books left for sale. The price is $80 and we only accept cash. REMEMBER
- Pick up your yearbook in ROOM G-7.  Some students who pre-ordered
yearbooks still have not claimed them.  They need to pick them up
immediately; otherwise, the yearbook staff cannot guarantee that they
will receive a book (yes, even if they paid for one).  If your student
pre-ordered a yearbook and you haven't seen it, you might want to ask.

BYE BYE BIRDIE DVD FOR SALE
Would you like a treasured memento of M-A's fabulous spring musical
while supporting Drama Boosters?  If so, then please send a check for
$15 made out to M-A Drama Boosters and send it to Uschersohn, 52 Callie
Lane, Menlo Park, CA 94025.  Be sure to include your return address. 
Disclaimer:  The DVD is a home movie, neither edited nor cut...just a
labor of love from a parent in the audience.  All actors were filmed to
the best of her ability, which was based on her distance from the stage
and the lighting.  Enjoy.

TRANSCRIPT REQUESTS
Attention Class of 2008:  Please remember to turn in your final
transcript request for your college before you leave us. The transcripts
will be mailed in mid-June. Our office is closed the month of July. The
Guidance Counselors and Staff congratulate all of you and wish you a
successful future.

*Athletics*

FALL ATHLETES MAY GET CLEARED NOW
All students wanting to participate in athletics at M-A in the fall can
get cleared to play NOW.  The "Permit to Participate" packet is
available in hard-copy in the AVP's office and on the M-A website,
www.mabears.org <file://www.mabears.org>;  <http://www.mabears.org/
<http://www.mabears.org/>; >, select "Athletics" in the left-hand menu.
You'll find the packet as well as our new Athletics Handbook, which will
answer all your questions about M-A's fine athletic programs.

Fall sports are: Girls' and Boys' Cross Country, Girls' Golf, Football,
Girls' Tennis, Girls' Volleyball, Girls' and Boys' Water Polo.  These
sports are allowed to begin practice on August 11th.  Be ready!  All the
forms you need are in the Permit to Participate packet, including the
two-page "Athletic Pre-Participation Screening Exam" form which must
have a stamp from a doctor certifying the athlete has passed a physical
within the last 12 mos.

Bring your completed forms to Aubrey Orcutt in the AVP's office.  M-A
summer office hours for processing Permit to Participate packets are as
follows: June:  9am - 11am and 1pm-3pm; July: closed; Aug 4th till
school starts:  9am - 11am and 1pm - 3pm.  Have a great summer ....and
we hope to see you on the playing field, in the pool, on the course, in
the gym, or on the court
