REMEMBERING MARILYN FRANKLIN
Marilyn Franklin, who devoted her entire 40 year career in education to the Menlo Park City School District, died from ovarian cancer on January 14th at her home in Sacramento with her family by her side. She was 68. She was the principal at Oak Knoll from 1986- 2002. A tribute to Ms. Franklin will start at 2 p.m. in the multi-purpose room at Oak Knoll School, 1895 Oak Knoll Lane in Menlo Park on Saturday, February 9. The mash-it-up club was a success on Wednesday! If you want to party like a rock star, or just dance like one, come and join every Wednesday at E-3 from 2:00-3:00 p.m.

SPORTS PACKAGES DUE NOW
NOW is the time to finish your spring sports packets. Tryouts begin next week on Monday and you need to have your paperwork finished. Do not stand in line on Friday. It will be frustrating and you may not get processed on time. Go see Ms. Orcott in the AVP office TODAY!
WRESTLING
Come watch the M-A wrestling team take on their archrivals from Woodside today at 3:30 in the New Gym. The scrappy Bears will be looking for a win after losing 47-20 to Burlingame last Tuesday. Among M-A point scorers, Tony Staples pinned his opponent, Matt Fitzgerald scored a technical fall, and Anthony Casillas prevailed by a score of 7-6.
BASEBALL
This is a reminder that all students who are trying out for Spring Baseball, you must have packets ready for Monday, January 28th which is the first day of practice. Practice will begin promptly at 3:00 p.m. Do not be late!
