BLOOD DRIVE

HEY BEARS! Remember this Friday is the Blood Drive! The blood drive buses will be located at the front of the school by the office for anyone who would like to donate. If your 16 year old student would like to donate, a parent permission slip needs to be filled out.  These can be picked up in B 21 the leadership room. Students who are 17 or older do not need a parent permission ship and can donate as they please.  If you have any questions about the blood drive, please come to B21. Donate blood and save lives!

EXCHANGE STUDENT IN NEED OF NEW HOST FAMILY!

A wonderful exchange student from Germany is in need of a new host family for second semester.  She has had a positive experience so far and would like to complete the school year here.  If you are interested in learning more and are open to a great experience, please contact her guidance counselor, Silvia Torres at 650-322-5311 ext 5139.  Thank you.

WINTER FORMAL TOIL FOR TIX

Don't let money stand in the way of dancing the night away at the Winter Formal on Friday, February 22.  Sign ups for Toil for Tix begins Friday, January 18 in B-20 outside Mrs. Todd's office.  See Mrs. Todd if you have questions.

Senior pages are still available!  The deadline has been extended to Tuesday, January 22.  This is the final deadline, so don't miss out on this excellent opportunity to create a memory in your Senior yearbook!

TECHNOLOGY EXAM

The Technology exam will take place Wednesday January 23 at 1:45.   The last day to register for the tech. exam will be Friday January 18th in the Guidance Office.   If you registered last semester you need to re-register again due to lost data in the system.  If you have any questions see Mrs. Escobar in guidance.

*Athletics*

SOFTBALL

Girls interested in Softball, there will be conditioning this Thursday and next Tuesday and Thursday from 4-5 pm on the softball field. Bring sneakers and workout clothes, no equipment needed.  Tryouts start January 28, so come and get ready for it.

BASKETBALL

The varsity boys' basketball team cruised to an easy victory over visiting Sequoia Wednesday night, winning 64-10.  Brendan McGrath led the scoring with 17 points and Peter DeFilipps added 12.  Come cheer on your Bears this Friday at Woodside at 7:45 in another important league match-up.

SPRING SPORTS

Packets are ready to be picked up now for any students interested in participating in spring sports.  Please come to the Administration Building, AVP Office to get a packet and physical screening exam form.  The completed packets must be in by Monday February 4, 2008.

Go Bears.  Grrrrr.
