STUDENT STORE
Our Student Store is open every day before school from 7:30-7:45 and at
lunch with a great team of student leaders ready to help our customers.
We are pleased to be providing the students with healthy food and drink
choices, school supplies, spirit items, and Bear Wear. We are delighted
to be working with our teachers to offer subject-specific supplies such
as selling goggles needed in Mrs. Caryotakis' Chemistry class. If you
have any questions, please contact Kelly Todd at ktodd at seq.org.

buy almost any Bear Wear that your Menlo-Atherton heart desires with 10%

PRINCESS PROJECT
We will once again be involved in working with the Bay Area Princess
Project. At Menlo-Atherton High School, we are in a special and unique
situation in that we are fortunate to be able to collect dresses and
accessories to contribute to the project and we are also able to take
many girls to find those perfect dresses to help make their Prom a very
special event. From February 25 to 29, we will be collecting items to
donate to the Project. The items may be dropped off from 7:30am-2:30pm
in room B-21. When selecting items to donate, please consider the
following: -Ideal donations include long, formal gowns from 2002 to NEW

all shapes and colors; fancy jewelry, including earrings, bracelets and
necklaces; and wraps or shawls. Dresses must be dry-cleaned and on
hangers. Accessories must be stylish, clean and in excellent condition.

STANFORD SLEEP STUDY
Did you think you sighted some college age visitors on campus on
Tuesday? In fact, you did! Over 40 Stanford Sleep and Dreams students
(and our own M-A Sleep Ambassadors) were doing sleep education in
freshman World Studies classes. More than 500 freshmen heard about
their "delayed sleep phase syndrome," their "sleep debts" and learned
the mantra : "DROWSINESS IS RED ALERT!" (usually shouted for emphasis).
For Parents Of Ninth Graders: Be sure to take a look at the information
your freshman brings home and ask about the teen sleep information that
was presented. For Parents Of Sophomores, Juniors And Seniors: What do
your students remember from their sleep education last year? For more
information on the M-A Teen Sleep Program, contact Eileen Van Rheenen
(eileen at vanr.org) or Kay O'Neill (kayoneill at mindspring.com).
