Waterpolo

With fabulous weather and cheering fans, the Polo Bears enjoyed their last regular season home games with a clean sweep against Burlingame. In the opening match, the Burlingame Boys Varsity proved to be tougher than expected, but the Bears were able to squeak out a 6-5 victory when Matt Bogott scored back-to-back goals in the last 2 minutes of the game. The Boys JV and Girls JV teams won easily by double-digit margins, ending their seasons undefeated. A special CONGRATULATIONS goes to Coach Chris Rubin and his Girls Varsity team who went undefeated in league play for the first time in M-A history!!! Our Polo Bears have more games this weekend and will be well-prepared for the PAL championships next week. GO BEARS!!!

SPORTS PACKAGES NEED TO BE TURNED IN

Anyone who would like to participate in winter sports (basketball, soccer, or wrestling) must go to the AVP office to pick up your sports packet and have it completed and turned into Ms. Aubrey Orcutt prior to November 1. Fall sports eligibility does not carry over into winter, and so if you were cleared to play a fall sport you will still need to complete a new packet and be cleared for winter sports. If you have any questions regarding sports eligibility, you may visit Ms. Orcutt in the AVP office during brunch, lunch, or after school until 3:45 PM."

GO BEARS!
