ENVIRONMENTAL TIDBIT

For our environmental tidbit today, did you know that when you visit a pharmacist, one in every four purchases will have come from a tropical forest? Wow, the destruction of the rainforest does affect all of us.  Come on, Bears! Letâ  s recycle and try to preserve the rainforests!

TEEN CLINIC

The Teen clinic will be here TODAY from 9AM to 2PM.  Space is limited so please stop by the health office today to schedule your appointment.  Walk-ins are welcome but at lunch time only. Stay Smart, Stay Healthy and Stay Safe.  For information on future teen clinic visits, please contact the health office.

SENIOR ANNOUNCEMENTS

 - GRADUATION ORDERS.  Jostens will be back to finish the graduation orders next Wednesday, Dec 5 at lunch.  Bring your completed packet or just go on line.  Either way, cap and gown orders must be COMPLETED by Dec 5!

 - YEARBOOK PICTURES, SENIOR ADS.  Do you think you deserve to have more pictures of yourself in the yearbook?  You can solve this problem by making your own page!  Anyone who is interested in placing a Senior ad in this year's yearbook can come to G-7 to pick up the information yourself.

JOBS FOR YOUTH

San Mateo County 'Job's for Youth' will be giving a presentation on Thursday, November 29th at lunch in the new Community Resource Center, room B-20.  The Job's for Youth specialist will have new neighborhood job listings, advice on how to get that perfect job, and will give assistance on completing applications. Lunch will be provided!

FRESHMAN RECOGNITION AWARDS

Attention, Freshman! For those of you that have received Recognition awards, please get to the leadership room, B-21, and put your name on the sign up sheet in the back of the room!!!! This is of the utmost importance for you to be able to receive your award!!!! Keep up the good work.

GUATAMALA SUMMER TRIP

Interested in the summer trip to Guatemala?  Our next meeting will be for you and your parents TONIGHT, Thursday, November 29, 2007 at 6:00 pm in C-10.  Special guest, Mr. Mario Flores will be there to field questions.  Mario is a Guatemalan who works for Global Visionaries, the organization that sponsors this trip.  We look forward to seeing you there!

FRISBEE CLUB

there will be a meeting in D-23 TODAY at lunch. There will be a game of Ultimate on Sunday at 2:30. Ultimate Frisbee: It's more than a game.

All those who order Outreach tee-shirts, please pick them up at lunch Thursday or Friday in the career Center . If you would like one, they are $5.  

ROBOTICS

Only five weeks left until the official Robotics Season starts!  Come to S-1 Friday at lunch to find out about Solidworks, programming and electronics.  S-1 is next to the woodshop, between the library and tennis courts.

CCS FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME

The football CCS Championship game is this Friday, 7PM at Foothill College, M-A against Palo Alto.  Tickets can be purchased in advance from Nanci Meacham in the Administrative Office. General Admission is $7.00 pre-sale or $9.00 at the gate. Students and seniors are $5.00 each regardless of when they are purchased.  Come and cheer on our Bears to victory!!


BADMINTON

Attention all Badminton players -  there will be a mandatory meeting next week on Thursday, December 6 in the old dance studio.  The meeting will start at 11:30 sharp!!!!  Lots to talk about so don't be late.  Please bring any forms to be turned in.  Thanks, Coach P
