Feed Our Families (formerly know as M-A Canned Food Drive)

This year, M-A's successful Canned Food Drive has a new name - "Feed our Families" - but the goal remains the same, to provide holiday food supplies to over 350 families in our school community.? Students are already hard at work collecting food; you may have seen them "canning" at Key Market, Trader Joe's and Safeway.? You can help make the drive successful by generously donating non-perishable food as well as cash, which will be used to purchase fresh fruits, vegetables, and chicken.

Once the cans are collected, Mr Stuart, Ms Todd, Ms Carson and the Leadership students will stage a tremendous effort to package and distribute the food from Wednesday, December 5th to Saturday December 8th.? Parent volunteers are a vital part of this.? We are looking for parents to sign up for the shifts listed below.? We especially need drivers to deliver boxes on Saturday, December 8th

Thursday, Dec. 6th: Sort and stage, work with fresh food: two hour shifts 9:00AM -1:00PM
Friday, Dec. 7th:? Assist families with pick-up (some driving possible): two hours shifts 10:00AM - 6:00PM
Saturday, Dec. 8th:? Deliver boxes around the community and site cleanup: two hour shifts 9:00AM - 1:00PM
