May 23: Spring Sports Awards Night

June 7: last day of school, graduation, and Grad Night celebration

JUNIOR PARENTS AND OTHER FASHION MAVENS

This year, the M-A PTA Fashion Show coordinators are trying something
new: a pre-season recruitment event this Wednesday, May 23 in the J
building during lunch and after school. They will be taking photos of
prospective models and asking students to complete a short questionnaire
about what kinds of clothes they would like to model. This will help
the committee decide which stores to approach, which will help ensure
that student models are happy with the items they are wearing during the
show.

There will be another recruitment event during the fall.

For more information, contact one of the chairs: Kathy Dunn
(kathy at kdunn.net), Nancy Sterling (n.sterling at comcast.net), Gita
Sheikbrezai, or Becky Galvez bgalvez at mpcsd.org

LAST WEEK FOR THE PRINCESS PROJECT

Help make another girl's prom night special by donating unwanted dresses
to the first annual Princess Project Dress Drive. Project Princess
allows underprivileged girls to get their prom dress for free. Bring
dresses to B-21 anytime before May 25.

HELP DEVELOP POLICY AT M-A

There is a PTA at-large position open on M-A's 2007-2008 Shared Decision
Making Site Council (SDMSC), the governing body that develops policy for
Menlo-Atherton High School. The council meets twice a month at M-A.
If you are a parent interested in taking on this important position and
are a PTA member, please contact Pam Stoner at pastoner at yahoo.com by

Park. The cost is $20 and no insurance is required. Amy also would
