Dear M-A parent volunteers,
We are recruiting parent volunteers to help proctor AP tests at M-A. Weâ re fortunate that M-A is able to offer a rich variety of AP classes, but it does create a daunting need for many proctors within a two-week period starting next week.
Proctors need no special skills â the main tasks are to help check in students, distribute and collect test materials, and maintain an appropriate test-taking environment for the exam. Each proctoring shift lasts 4 hours, which includes time before and after each 3-hour test. If you are available to take one or more shifts, please reply to this email and weâ ll get back to you with details about exact locations, parking, and more instructions. Please DO NOT sign up to proctor a test that a student in your family will be taking.
Tuesday, May 8th, Spanish Language, 7:30 a.m. at M-A
Tuesday, May 8th, Statistics, 12:00 p.m., location TBA
Wednesday, May 9th, Calculus, 7:30 a.m. at Menlo Park Presbyterian Church (â MPPCâ )
Monday, May 14th, Biology, 7:30 a.m. at MPPC
Wednesday, May 16th, English Language, 7:30 a.m. at MPPC
Wednesday, May 16th, Art History, 12:00 p.m. at M-A
Please note that this is not a complete list of all AP tests offered at M-A this year. These are just the ones for which proctors are needed. If you have questions about the schedule for other AP exams, please ask your student or the teacher of the class in question.
Many thanks!
