IS YOUR STUDENT PLANNING TO PLAY A SPORT IN THE SPRING?

If your students are even thinking about trying out for the swim team, boys=
tennis, boys golf, badminton, baseball, softball, lacrosse, or track and f=
ield teams this spring, they need to pick up sports packets from the assist=
ant vice principal's office. All student athletes, including those current=
ly playing a winter sport, need to submit their sports packets by Friday, J=
anuary 26. No exceptions! Tryouts for spring sports begin on Monday, Jan=
uary 29, and are open only to students who have completed and turned in the=
ir packets. =

Note: all athletes must have medical clearance forms signed by their doctor=
s. This is often the hardest form to complete, as it usually entails a tri=
p to the doctor and perhaps a checkup. So if your student has not had a p=
hysical within the last year, make that appointment pronto and avoid a last=
 minute heartbreak. =
