SOFTBALL
After returning from spring break, our varsity team came on strong with a 5=

way to setting a new school record of 15 strikeouts. =
The M-A Bears were led offensively by Olivia Vagelos and Chelsea Mongird, e=
ach with 2 hits. Ellen Knapp contributed with a triple and Tami Vujovich d=
rove in 2 runs with a bases clearing double in the 5th inning. This came a=
fter a clutch single by Sarah Black drove in the first run of the game. Th=
e Bears added to their lead in the 6th with hits by Tiffany Kung, Demi Batt=
aglia, Olivia Vagelos and Chelsea Mongird. Menlo only threatened once in t=
he 4th when they had the bases loaded, but Vujovich came back to strike out=
the side. M-A's next game is Friday at Terra Nova in Pacifica at 3:15 .
TENNIS
In the second of five consecutive matches this week, the team continued the=
