FASHION SHOW FOLLOWUP

read on for info about photos, lost & found, and this season's hot DVD

GOING PLACES

Here's your opportunity to order incredible photographs of your young
model "going places." A professional photographer took 1,293 photos at
the Fashion Show, and has posted them for you to see at
http://www.photoreflect.com/pr3/thumbpage.aspx?e=2288269

Questions? Contact Chris Rivera at chris.rivera at sbcglobal.net

LOST & FOUND

Did your seniors come home after the show missing a t-shirt, sweatshirt,
shorts, footwear, belt, camera case, curling iron, and/or travel
blanket? Make sure they check the Fashion Show lost & found box in the
administration lobby for any personal belongings that mysteriously
vanished that day. Anything unclaimed as of today, November 3 will be
donated to people who probably need these items more than your children
do. Also, the custodian found a set of car keys (surely someone must be
missing those?) Direct any lost/found questions to Debbie Verity at
debv1 at yahoo.com

DVDs

Show DVDs are still available! If you would like your very own copy,
email John Bowley at johnbowley at comcast.net or pick up an order form in
the M-A office. Cost is $25 per DVD

QUIZ KIDS ON TV!

Watch the M-A Quiz Bowl team face off against Half Moon Bay this
Saturday, November 4, at 2 p.m. on KRON channel 4 (may be a different
channel on your cable system).

FACTS FORUM

Worried about your alcohol or drugs and your child? Join other concerned
parents at the FACTS Forum scheduled for November 7 at 7:30 p.m. in the
library. This is a great opportunity to hear about new research and to
share thoughts and questions with other parents.

Save the date: Ralph Castro, Alcohol and Drug Educator at Vaden Student
Health Center at Stanford University, will be our guest at the December
5 FACTS Forum at 7:30 p.m. in the library. As many parents of college
students know, college freshmen must complete an on-line alcohol
awareness test as a condition of admission. Ralph Castro will discuss
what Stanford University is seeing in terms of alcohol use on campus and
answer questions about addressing these issues with our M-A students.

If you have any questions, please contact FACTS co-chairs, Lisa
Bohannon, lfredbohan at aol.com, and Lily Hurlimann, Lhurl at aol.com.

LUNCH MADE EASY

You can prepay for your students' school lunches simply by writing a
check for the amount you wish to prepay and sending it with your student
to give to any food kiosk attendant or mailing it to SUHSD Food Services

Be sure to include your student's ID number on the check. If the check
is for more than one student, each ID needs to be listed with the amount
