Today is graduation day at Menlo-Atherton
Menlo-Atherton historically holds graduation ceremonies on Thursday but that
is not reflected on the district calendar.
According to retiring Donna Tyree in the guidance office at 4pm today 348
Senior's will graduate from Menlo-Atherton High School.
Mr. Zito the Vice Principal would like to remind you to pick up your
diplomas after graduation.
Now for the rules of the day that will help make everyone's day flow more
smoothly.
Graduation begins promptly at 4pm on Thursday June 8th on the
Menlo-Atherton Football Field located off of Ringwood Avenue in
Atherton, CA.
The main gates to the graduation field open at 3pm. Unfortunately, no
one will be allowed in before that time and we do not reserve seating.
Parking is available on site in all three of our parking lot. This
parking will fill up very quickly so please arrive early if you want
parking closest to the venue.
We strongly encourage people to park in the Sunset Magazine Parking lot
at 80 Willow Road and take our FREE Sequoia District shuttle service.
The first shuttle will pick up in the Sunset Magazine parking lot at
approximately 3 pm. The shuttle will drop off and pick up after the
ceremony in the T-lot that is the parking lot (in front of the two
gymnasiums on Ringwood Street).
Reserved wheelchair seating is located next to the concrete home side
M-A bleachers. Contact Sandy Nelson at snelson at seq.org or 650.322.5311
ext. 5131 to reserve a space ahead of time.
Additional handicapped parking is available on our basketball
courts--access to this parking is only available through the access gate
in between the new gym and the tennis courts on Ringwood Street. Please
drive in and identify yourself to the custodian working the gate.
Please do not park illegally on Ringwood Street or on side streets in
Atherton or in Menlo Oaks.
Sincerely,
Matthew Zito
Vice Principal
