Please come out and see 11 seniors play in their final home game. This tournament will also determine if M-A will win the PAL Bay Division. If M-A wins, this will be unprecedented since M-A just moved up from the Ocean Division a year ago after winning that division. This is all thanks to those 11 seniors so come out and cheer them on. A team party for players only (and coaches) will be on Saturday, 5/19 from 5-8 PM at Carson Rosenberg's (727 Laurel Ave., Menlo Park). An Evite invitation has already been sent out separately to the players for this occasion. All players should respond ASAP or tell Carson personally and indicate a dish or other items to share. Help with the food is absolutely necessary for this occasion. Also, players were told to send or give money this week to Hensley Ellefritz for coaches' gifts. Please give it to Hensley tomorrow if possible or send it to her mother at: Sue Ellefritz, at 202 Santa Margarita, Menlo Park, CA 94025. Finally, everyone who ordered sweatshirts has gotten theirs. If you haven't gotten yours yet, be sure to bring your money to Thursday's game. I will be there. Some who didn't order have asked if they still can. I know that it is possible but they will cost more. I have contacted the company who made them for the exact amounts. If you are interested, let me know and I will inform you of the cost and then you can decide. Go Bears! Not everyone has gotten theirs. I still have about 10 yet. Please bring your money on Thursday. I forgot to plug the M-A Spring Award Night too. It will be on Wednesday, 5/23 from 7-9 PM (refreshments will be served starting at 6:45). It is mandatory that all players and coaches attend this. Trophies, awards, team photos, etc., will be handed out that night. All parents should plan to attend as well. Also, more information about the league playoffs that are 5/15-17 and on 5/19 will be given out by the coaches to the players that will be participating.
