Does this mean it's not free and we can purchase at the door?

Common Ground Speaker Series:

GETTING SCHOOL RIGHT: Helping Kids Stay Healthy, Happy & Engaged

A Panel Discussion with
David Elkind, Ph.D., Madeline Levine, Ph.D., Denise Pope, Ph.D. and Brad Sachs, Ph.D.

Wednesday, October 17, 7:00PM
Woodside High School Performing Arts Center

Today's students face an unprecedented crisis in mental and physical health. In teens, intense academic expectations and widespread anxiety about school performance have been linked to increased cheating, a decline in engaged learning and a host of stress-related physical and emotional problems. This high-stakes, high-pressure culture all too often saps health, happiness and joy from what should be the most carefree time of life.

Common Ground proudly presents a panel of leading child advocates currently working to address this crisis. Each brings a unique perspective to this special one-night-only event, offering parents essential strategies to help kids stay healthy, happy and engaged.

This is a great speaker series which the public may attend - if you aren't from one of the member schools the fee is $20.
