PSAT - the Practice Scholastic Aptitude Test

Who? - juniors

Results - the scores of the PSAT will not be forward to colleges

When? - Saturday October 21  7:45am - 12noon

Who? - for students who plan on going to a 4 year college

Why? - gives the student an assessment as to whether they need an SAT 
prep course and
 provides a beginning search of colleges which may be good academic fits 
for them.

Also, juniors will be eligible for the National Merit Scholaship after 
taking the PSAT

Where? - the test takes place at Carlmont High School

Cost- $23 (checks made payable to Carlmont High School)

Registration - Through Friday, 9/29 in treasurers office
inside the attendance office (during lunch and after school)
