Review week is May 27th - June 2nd, 2008
Senior Finals are the week of May 27th - 30th and will be administered
during regulary scheduled 50 minute class periods.
The final schedule for 9th, 10th and 11th grades is as follows:

CLUBS AND PROGRAMS
TODAY is your last chance to visit the senior selling circus in the
quad at lunch! Get a free lollipop and buy timeless mementos of your

There will be a mandatory meeting of Calculus 2008-09 students at lunch
on Wednesday, May 28th. BC students meet in E-14 and AB students in
E-16. - Enenstein
The Carlmont Hip Hop Squad is holding tryouts on May 28th. Youve
seen them perform at games and assemblies and here is your chance to be
apart of the team! Tryouts will be held in the dance studio at 3:30 p.m.
on Wednesday, may 28th. Make sure that you come in dance attire and be
on time. If you have any questions, talk to Sarah Cox or Sofie Zarrabi.

Summer school is still accepting applications for second session. If
you would like to sign up for second session of summer school, please

Get a jump start on your Summer Reading - buy your books this Saturday
at Barnes & Noble in San Mateo and support AVID. You can get a flyer

ALL STUDENTS... IMPORTANT INFO! Make sure to clean out your hall and
PE locker of all library and textbooks. If you leave for the summer,
and books are found in lockers you will be fined $5.00!!! Your Library

ALL STUDENTS... FYI.. If you have dropped a class, make sure you
return those books to the Textbook Room.. Otherwise ALL textbooks need
to be returned to your current teacher. Please feel free to come by the
Library/Textbook Room and check your account before you leave for the

CLASS INFO
Seniors....you have one day...ONE DAY to pick up your Cap and Gown.
That's this Wednesday at lunch or after school. If you ordered a Cap
and Gown, you HAVE to pick it up this Wednesday. If you need to buy
one, you still can. Prices go up to $70 on June 1. If you don't pick
up your Cap and Gown this Wednesday, you will need to pay a restocking
fee. PICK UP YOUR CAP and GOWN!!!!!!!! - Kelly
Hey Seniors - there are only 20 seats left on the bus to Grad Night
2008! You
don't want to miss out. This is an all night event with 300 of your
closest friends! Submit permission slip, waiver form, payment and ticket
order form to Ms. Eggli-Smith in the admin office by May 28th. This will
be a sold out event!!
Seniors and Parents of Seniors. Check the Carlmont website for all
information on Senior Activities for the rest of the year including
Graduation information, Senior Picnic, Baccalaureate, Service Seal

Rising seniors:
If you are enrolled in Advanced Placement English Literature and
Composition for 2008-2009, you must attend one of two meetings with Ms.
Pierce and Mr. Hill next week, either Wednesday, May 28 at 3:20 or
Thursday, May 29, at 2:30. Both meetings will last approximately 45
minutes, and both will take place in Mr. Hill's classroom, A-4. Again,
you need attend only one meeting. Although it will be short, our
conversation will lay the foundation for your success in AP English
Literature. If it is impossible for you to attend, you may see Mr. Hill
privately for an abbreviated and therefore less advantageous
introduction to the course. - Hill

Attention all girls interested in playing Fall tennis. There is a
mandatory meeting in E10 on Wednesday May 28th at the beginning of
