Carlmont Parents Staff and Students. The Class of 2010 is having there  first 
Dine Out Night Tuesday Feb 27th from 5 to 9 P.M. at Armadillo Willy's at  
Bridgepoint in Foster City. Come help raise money for our class and have a great  
dinner. ALL you need to do is mention Carlmont. Everyone is welcome. Watch 
for  flyers around school.

CLASS INFO

Seniors! Do you want to be a Model? Come to a meeting, Thursday 2/15 in C-12, if you want to be in the senior class fashion show. You must be at this meeting if you would like to model. 

SPORTS

The weight room is open Monday - Friday evenings from 6:00 - 9:00pm. Cost is $1 for students. - Low

Swimmers! We can't get in the pool yet, but we are going to start dry land training.  Meet down at the track, wed. in your shorts and running clothes from 2:30 * 3:15. Get cleared! * Kelly

CLUBS AND PROGRAMS

All surfers and boogie boarders: There is a Norcal Beach Boarders Club meeting this Wed, Feb. 14th, at lunch in A12.  Be there! - Fung

All Key Club members!  Come to a meeting This Thursday at lunch in D10.  We will be handing out permission slips for the 2nd Harvest event March 7, and talking about YOUR ideas for an event in April.  See you there!

Hey Teachers and Staff: Celebrate Mardi Gras, the Tues after our 4 day weekend with a delicious 3 course Louisiana lunch prepared and delivered to your room by Carlmont's students of French. Enjoy a toasted pecan and mandarin salad, a tasty jambalaya and a traditional Louisiana king cake and all for only $5. Vegetarian jambalaya will be served as well. See a Carlmont student of French to order or check in your box for the order form and return to Ms Burton's box. - Burton

Hey Students: Did you know that Mardi Gras is Feb 20, the Tues after our 4 day weekend and that Carlmont's French Club and Program will be selling colorful metallic Mardi Gras beads for 50 cents a strand or 3 strands for $1? You can buy your Mardi Gras beads before school, at lunch and after school on Thurs Feb 15, the day before the 4-day weekend and the Tues of Mardi Gras, on Feb 20. There were forty, and now there are two.  The Madden Bowl is on Tuesday February 13th in E-7 during lunch where Jesus Avalos will take on Warren Tomampos in a 4 quarter dual to find out who will be the '07 Madden Tournament winner.  Come one and all into E-7 Tuesday the 14th at lunch to watch this historic match up. - Nichols

Irving "Magic" Johnson is known for playing basketball for the LA Lakers and won with them 5 NBA championships. He was also named MVP 3 times. Sadly in 1991, he announced that he has HIV and he retired from playing. Now he works to promote AIDS awareness and is now a successful entrepreneur. * Wade

Valentine's Day is this week. Send your friends a rose or send that special someone a rose. They are 2 dollars each and will be sold in the Quad during lunch. The last day is today! * Nilson
