CLUBS AND PROGRAMS

Attention all Sojourners: Come to Ms. Redmon's room TODAY, for our weekly meeting.  Remember to bring your John Lewis book and discussion questions. - Redmon

The second meeting of the Carlmont Key Club will be this Thursday, February 8, at the beginning of lunch in D10.  Our first service event is March 7, so bring your friends and we'll see you Thursday! - Poliszuk

There will be a Polynesians Overcoming Violence meeting TODAY at 12 noon in D-7. Please come and promote peace. - Coach Vaca

Young Latino Leaders club meeting TODAY at lunch in T-1. Come meet new people, perform community service hours on the weekends and learn about College scholarships. - Alvarez

Hey Carlmont! According to the weatherman, this Friday it is going to rain, but you're in luck! NOISE has a concert this Friday in the gym presenting the magic bullets! Regardless of the weather, you should come by and check it out! Magic bullets this Friday at lunch in the gym. - Kelly

Do you know George Washington Carver? He was an agricultural chemist, educator and botanist. Born to slave parents, but also earned a BS & MS in agriculture. He developed numerous products made from peanuts, sweet potatoes and other crops. So now you know a little about George W. Carver. Happy Black History Month. - Wade

The beach Volleyball club is back! After a long hiatus, we will be having a meeting this Thursday at lunch in room E-16. WE have designs for our club shirts and we need to vote and order them! New and old members are encouraged to come!

The kitchen is hiring cashiers for lunch service. If you are interested, please come to the C-Hall kitchen and ask for Tracy McGuinness. The best time to come would be toward the end of lunch. - McGuinness

PERFORMING ARTS

70'S Gold!! Get your leisure suit, your platform shoes and bell bottoms because*Carlmont Choir is going Disco!!! Carlmont High School Choirs' will have Dessert Theatre on Friday, Feb 9th and Saturday Feb 10th at 7 p.m. in the Student Union. Tickets are $15 for adults and $12 for students and must be purchased in advance. Come and have delicious desserts and beverages as the singers perform 70's hits!
