Parents of Juniors and Sophomores:  PTSA is sponsoring a great
opportunity for students planning to go to a four-year college to get a
feel for what the four-hour-long SAT I test is like -- under real time
constraints.  On Saturday, February 24, from 8:45 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Revolution Prep (a test prep company) will administer a full-length SAT
in Carlmont's Student Union.  For $20 (proceeds go to PTSA), your
student will get an online, scored report to show them their math,
verbal and writing strengths and weakness, including comments on the
written essay  Then they/you can decide if additional preparation is
needed for the REAL tests offered in May and June as well as next Fall.
Have your student sign up for the "Rehearsal SAT" by Wednesday, February
21 with Mrs... Dominguez in the College Center near the Admin Office.

Students participating in Youth in Business Day on February 15th need to turn in their permission slip to Mrs. Simpson by Tuesday, February 6th.  Please turn it in to her in Room D-4. * Simpson

The kitchen is hiring cashiers for lunch service. If you are interested, please come to the C-Hall kitchen and ask for Tracy McGuinness. The best time to come would be toward the end of lunch. * McGuinness

The second meeting of the Carlmont Key Club will be this Thursday, February 8, at the beginning of lunch in D10.  Our first service event is March 7, so bring your friends and we'll see you Thursday! - Poliszuk
