CLUBS AND PROGRAMS

Did you know that Carlmont has a Bowling Club?  If you're interested in participating and would like the details please see Mrs. Mudd in the Guidance office at lunch or after school.  Mudd

Have a great idea in mind for a club on campus? Come to the ASB room anytime during lunch to pick up a club charter request from. * Kelly

Quiz Team:  The first Quiz Team meeting of the year is today at lunch in D-27.  All are welcome! * Braunstein

Do you have your PAL sticker on your I.D. yet?  If not, you can pick them up at lunch in the ASB room.  You need your sticker to get the discounts to all PAL games and to Carlmont functions.  So, pick up your PAL sticker in the ASB room today. * Kelly

Do you have a free period?  Do you need extra credits?  Would you like an enriching, fulfilling class?  Then come on by to room T-12 and become a peer tutor.  It's a life changing class, for both you and the students you'll be with. * Rees

There is a new shipment of small and medium PE uniforms available in the Student Store. Come during lunch to purchase them! A shipment of large sizes is coming soon. Prices are $15 for shorts, $10 for shirts and $20 for a sweatshirt or sweatpants.

IMPORTANT INFO

Attention Students: Please DO NOT use Highland Road to walk from class to class. With all of the construction on campus, there is heavy traffic on that road. Please find another route to get to class. * Fishtrom

We have starting taking lunchtime privileges away from students who are tardy to class.  Get to class on time! * Gordon

Once we get everyone a Carlmont lanyard and once all students have their ID's we are going to be expecting to see  EVERYONE displaying their ID's.  ID's in the pocket or lanyards hanging out of the pocket with no ID showing, lanyards and ID's hidden will not be acceptable.  By next Friday there should be NO EXCUSES. - Gordon

Please make sure you put a SECOND lock on your PE locker.  These lockers are NOT secure.  Please do not keep anything of value in the PE lockers.  The HALL lockers ARE secure, please put your valued items in your hall locker or come to the Administration office and ask that we hold your valuables.  Please do not bring anything that is of value to you to school if you do not have to. - Gordon


TESTING AND COURSES

The Technology Challenge exam will be held on September 6th at 3:15. Students wishing to challenge the district Technology requirement can sign up in the Guidance office between 7:30 and 7:55 am and between 2:30 and 3:45 pm.  The deadline for signing up for the exam is TODAY.  Students will receive a pass in class the day before indicating which computer lab they have been assigned. * DePaoli

Auditions for the Fall Play, “A Midsummer Might’s Dream” are next Tues, Sept. 4th at 3:30 in the Choral Room. * Martin

Carlmont Golfers.  Hey, if you're on the Carlmont Golf Team or you are trying out for the Carlmont Golf team, Mr. Kelly has an offer for you.  Want to go on a field trip, earn some tips, help a good cause????  If you do, go see Mr. Kelly by this Friday.  All Carlmont Golfers, go see Mr. Kelly at lunch in the ASB room. - Kelly
