IMPORTANT INFO
Do you enjoy lunch? Enjoy being out in the sun and visiting with your friends? If you do not pick up your trash after lunch, you are subject to losing your lunchtime privileges and will spend your lunchtime in a classroom. We will take roll and if you do not show up, we will suspend you from school......Have your ID's showing and pick up your trash after lunch!!!!!!!!!!!!!! * Gordon
As students receive their IDs and lanyards they are expected to start wearing them immediately. We will be getting more lanyards by the end of this week. Please be ready to show your identification upon request if you do not have a lanyard. The San Mateo Times newspaper wrote an article about our proactive stance on creating a safe campus. If there is a major natural disaster or if there is a serious incident on campus that requires either the police or emergency services to come onto campus, we will be able to readily identify our staff and students. Most corporations and Universities now require IDs for everything from entering the building to ordering food. Our requirement will assist you in preparing for life after Carlmont.
Eventually your IDs will be able to scan for not only library services, but for food, getting on the school bus and someday for taking attendance.
There will be consequences, leading up to and including suspension from school if you do not cooperate with our policy.
We expect your cooperation once everyone has been issued their ID and lanyard. - Gordon
