  CHS Annual Golf Tournament  on Sunday, May 6th at Los Lagos Golf 
Course in San Jose. 8:00 am. shotgun start  with a scramble format. Can bring your

Come to Taxi's Restaurant in San Mateo on Tuesday May 1, 2007 and eat with your friends! A portion of the sales will be donated to support Prom and Grad Night 2008 A flyer is needed, see either Mrs. Garvey or download it from the website.  Come and support the Prom and Grad Night 2008. - Kelly

AVID wants to see everyone at the Giants game against the Philadelphia Phillies on Friday, May 4th.  The game starts at 7:15.  Tickets are only $20.00 if you purchase before April 27th (face value is $26.00).  After April 27th, tickets go up to $25.00.  You can purchase them from Ms. McKee in room D21, from Ms. Hero in room S1, or from Ms. Stewart in room C13. - Stewart

CLASS INFO

Seniors.  If you have a talent for singing, dancing, rapping, reading poetry, or playing a musical instrument, then you should audition for Baccalaureate.  That's right, the Baccalaureate auditions are next Monday, May 7 in the Choir Room from 2:45-4:00.  What is Baccalaureate?  It's one night to celebrate the Senior class with awards and performances.  It happens right before graduation.  So, get to the auditions next Monday if you have a special talent. - Kelly

Seniors, seniors seniors!  Please remember that Safety Ed is REQUIRED for graduation. Safety Ed must be completed in order to earn a diploma and participate in the graduation ceremony. Please see your counselor if you have questions. - Kelly

SPORTS

There is a mandatory football meeting Wednesday at lunch.  If you plan on playing, you must attend.  We will be going over Spring Football dates and uniform items.  Please come to the Weight Room at lunch Wednesday the 2nd. - Jacobs

Hey Manga fans! Did you know that origins of Manga can be traced back to the 19th Century? For those who don’t know, Manga is the Japanese word for comics. Check out the new Manga display in the library. - Ingram

PERFORMING ARTS

Are you In the Mood for Feeling Good?  The Carlmont Dancers are getting ready to cut Footloose and their Only Hope is that you join them for A Dance To Remember.  Forget your Hurt and Trouble, because Wild Horses can't keep these dancers from Such Great Heights.  It's going to be a Thriller!  
Dance show performances May 9, 11, 12, and 17, 18, 19 in the Carlmont 
Little Theater at 7:30 p.m.  Tickets (available after May1st): $10 general,

Attention AP Students:
You have a mandatory Pre-Slugging session. If your last name starts with M-Z your Pre-Slugging session is on Thursday, May 3rd at the beginning of 7th period in the Student Union. Please see Ms. Langkusch in A-2 prior to May 1st, for pre arrangement in order to get on a list for the early morning make-up session. The make-up session will be in room A-2 on Wednesday, May 2 at 7:45am.  You need to meet with Ms. Langkusch before May 1st, to get your name on her list. - Bologna/Bailey
