PERFORMING ARTS

Congratulations to Carlmont's Instrumental music students who gave
incredible performances at festivals this past weekend. The Jazz Band
performed at the Cal State East Bay Jazz Festival on Friday. The
festival does not give ratings but the group rocked the house to rave
reviews. On Saturday three of our groups performed at the CMEA Rating
Festival with the Concert Band receiving a Superior rating, and both the
Orchestra and the Symphonic Band being awarded Unanimous Superiors, the
highest possible rating. Kudos to these fine young musicians! - Miner

Are you In the Mood for Feeling Good? The Carlmont Dancers are getting
ready to cut Footloose and their Only Hope is that you join them for
A Dance To Remember. Forget your Hurt and Trouble, because Wild Horses

Thriller!
Dance show performances May 9, 11, 12, and 17, 18, 19 in the Carlmont
Little Theater at 7:30 p.m. Tickets (available after May1st): $10
