Carlmont animal rights club is pleased to inform you of World GO VEGAN
Days, Friday the 27th, Saturday the 28th and Sunday the 29th of October!
That's this weekend! SAPA urges you to try eating vegan for just a day
or only a single meal while incorporating compassionate behavior into

Attention all Sojourn to the Past Participants. Monday, October 30th,
we will meet to type up fundraising letters and plan our first big

season? Come to the Carlmont High School Craft Faire on Saturday, Nov.
4 from 10-5 in the student union. We have great vendors selling a

Hey students!! Do you like lively music and dancing? Do you like a
plot with wit, charm, humor, heartache and inspiration? Then what are
you waiting for? Buy your tickets for Carlmont's Fall Musical, 42nd
Street, opening next week. Click on the link at Carlmont's website,
call the box office at x8712 or buy your tickets on campus. Campus
sales will occur this Monday, Oct. 30th at lunch in the quad. Remember
the musical opens next week. Get your tickets early for the best seats
and enjoy the show!!
Like working with kids? Are you thinking about becoming a teacher?
Central School's Homework Club might be the place for you! Help
Central
Elementary Belmont students with their homework. Homework Clubs times
are Tuesday and Thursdays from 2:30pm to 4:30pm at Central Elementary
in
Belmont. Program starts the last week of November. Volunteer and make
a

COLLEGE AND CAREER
Attention all students: Next Thursday, Nov. 2, is Carlmont's Annual
College Day. What happens on College Day? On College Day, teachers and
staff wear their college alumni attire and you get to check out a list
where Carlmont teacher's went to college. The best part is you get to
ask them questions about their College and you're invited to drop by the
College Center during lunch to have some snacks. - Dominguez
Students, if you are looking for a two-year private college that offers
housing, is located on the southern LA coastal area, and helps you plan
and prepare to transfer a four-year college, then check out Marymount
College during 5th period in the College Center. - Dominguez
CLASS INFO
Juniors! Listen closely. There is a Junior Carwash this Saturday. As
of now, we don't have enough workers to hold the carwash. If you can
help, please sign up in the ASB room. If we can't have this carwash,
then we will have to charge more money for Prom tickets for Juniors.
Please help! If you have time on Saturday, please sign up to help with

Seniors. If you have not ordered your Graduation Cap and Gown, the
prices will go up on November 1. You may still mail in your order form
to Herff Jones by October 31. Order your Cap and Gown at the lowest
price. If you wait, the prices WILL go up.
SPORTS
Girls Soccer players: Tryouts are coming up on Wednesday. Are you
ready? Have you turned in your clearance forms? Varsity will meet on
the track by the soccer shed at 2:45 and Frosh Soph will meet on the
upper field also at 2:45. Are you ready to defend your championship???
