IMPORTANT INFO

Final Exams are Tuesday, December 19th which has a lunch built into the day.  

On Wednesday December 20th and Thursday, December 21st there will be a 15 minute brunch break between your 2 finals. Lunch will be served during the bunch break at the student union expressway windows only.  

If you catch the bus home they will leave promptly at 12:35pm on Wednesday and Thursday. - Bailey

CLUBS AND PROGRAMS

This is for the Animal Lovers out there! During lunch in the quad on TODAY and Friday Dec 8th, bring blankets and towels for the animals at Pets in Need. * Kelly

There is a selling event for Mr. Braunstein's economic class at lunch on Thursday, Dec 7th. Bring some money and stop by the quad to buy some holiday gifts or something nice for yourself. - Braunstein

Interested in playing ping pong at lunch?  Join the ping pong club outside of T-3 at the beginning of lunch on Thursday to set up the table and play some games! * Cho

Come support your Seniors! Senior selling event on Monday, Dec 11th in the Quad at lunch. Holiday gifts, spirit accessories and much more! Show love for your little seniors who are leaving soon!

There will be a MEAT club meeting on Thursday, Dec 7th at lunch in E-1. Free soda for the first 24 people! * Harrison

Classes! Classes! Classes! Canned Food Drive! We need your cans and your food and your food and your cans! So drive them over here! The 4th period class with the most cans, will get a pizza party! It ends next week, so bring your cans! 

There is an Emergency Junior class meeting in B-4 at lunch on Thursday. This meeting will discuss senior prom and activities next year.  If you don't want Prom to be in the gym, you need to come to this meeting. 

Have you been to the Mall lately? The lines can be crazy! If you want to avoid the mad christmas rush, then come down to the quad at lunch on Dec. 7th, and check  out all the products the seniors have for sale. * Kelly

The Chief Umpire from the Belmont/Redwood Shores Little League will have a table during lunch at the Quad tomorrow . He is looking for students to umpire baseball games this upcoming season in Belmont.  Stop by for more information or to register. * Moncada

Attention to all Madden tournament players:  Come into E-7, starting Thursday Dec 7th, to pick up your schedule which includes WHO you will play, WHAT day you will play on, and the TIME of your game during lunch.  There will be two games a day at lunch, no make ups.  If players fail to pick up their schedules in E-7 starting Dec 7th at lunch in E-7, they will forfeit and their opponent will automatically advance.  See you in E-7 this Thursday at lunch. *Nichols

Bowling Club-  Just a reminder that we will be meeting at Bel Mateo Bowl on Thursday this week at 3:45 p.m.  We are still welcoming anyone who is interested in joining us for the next League play which begins after the holidays.-Mudd

It's basketball season, so don't miss the Student vs. Staff Basketball game this Friday!  That's right, go to the gym to watch your favorite teachers defend their 10 time victory streak.  What!!!?? Yes, the teachers have one 10 times.  Will this be the year the teachers lose?  Find out on Friday at lunch in the gym:  Watch Skillin flash down the court, give a no look pass to Shelley who will one eighty spin and dish off to Heck who can post up Shaq.  Heck will pass behind his back to Kelly cutting through the lane off a pick set by Smith and Farhad but he'll unselfishly pass it off to Soul-Train Soelberg who will spot up and drain a 3-pointer.  And the crowd will say:  "wow"  Don't believe it?  Come out this Friday to the Student/Staff Basketball game. * Kelly

Golf Team.  There will be a Golf Team meeting TODAY in the Gym.  There will be an important announcement there.  Everyone who wants to be on the Golf Team needs to be at this meeting.  Golf Team meeting in the Gym on TODAY at lunch. - Kelly

CLASS INFO

Seniors: If you did not fill out a Diploma Order Name Card in your English class, please come to the Guidance Office and fill one out by December 21st.  If we do not have a card on file, your name will be printed on your diploma as shown on our records. * Davis

Seniors (Class of 2007) who wish to submit a technology portfolio in order to satisfy the Technology Graduation Requirement, must do so no later than Friday, December 8, 2006.   See your Guidance Counselor or Mr. Engberg for details. * Engberg

Seniors!  Do you need a letter of recommendation for a private college?  Counselors need all requests for letters of recommendation by December 8th regardless of the college's application deadline. - DePaoli

PERFORMING ARTS

Don't miss the Instrumental Music Winter Concerts. Join us on Thursday (Dec 7) evening at 7 in the Little Theatre for the Concert Band and Jazz Band. Each concert features perennial seasonal favorites and an assortment of other interesting fare. Tickets are: adults $8, Carlmont students $5 and Carlmont faculty and staff are free. - Miner
