CLUBS AND PROGRAMS

Bowling Club-  Just a reminder that we will be meeting at Bel Mateo
Bowl on Thursday this week at 3:45 p.m.  We are still welcoming anyone
who is interested in joining us for the next League play, which begins
after the holidays. -Mudd

It's basketball season, so don't miss the Student vs. Staff Basketball
game this Friday!  That's right, go to the gym to watch your favorite
teachers defend their 10 time victory streak.  What!!!?? Yes, the
teachers have one 10 times.  Will this be the year the teachers lose? 
Find out on Friday at lunch in the gym: Watch Skillin flash down the
court, give a no look pass to Shelley who will one eighty spin and dish
off to Heck who can post up Shaq.  Heck will pass behind his back to
Kelly cutting through the lane off a pick set by Smith and Farhad but
he'll unselfishly pass it off to Soul-Train Soelberg who will spot up
and drain a 3-pointer.  And the crowd will say:  "wow"  Don't believe
it?  Come out this Friday to the Student/Staff Basketball game. - Kelly

There is a selling event for Mr. Braunstein's economic class at lunch
on Thursday, Dec 7th. Bring some money and stop by the quad to buy some
holiday gifts or something nice for yourself. - Braunstein

F.O.M.F., the annual trivia hunt game is just around the corner. If
you're interested in becoming a FOMF leader, come to a meeting this
Thursday in D-27, Mrs. Braunstein's room. - Braunstein

There is a CSF meeting today at lunch in E-11.  All members should
attend.

Madden NFL Tournament on playstation 2.  You think you're good.  Can
you walk the walk or just talk the talk.  Come show what you got and
sign up in E-7 at lunch this week for the Madden Football tournament
which will begin Tuesday December 7th.  Hurry, spots are limited. 
Winner gets a Best Buy gift certificate and bragging rights for one

This is for the Animal Lovers out there! During lunch in the quad on
Wednesday, Dec 6th and Friday Dec 8th, bring blankets and towels for the

PERFORMING ARTS

Don't miss the Instrumental Music Winter Concerts. Join us on Thursday
(Dec 7) evening at 7 in the Little Theatre for the Concert Band and Jazz
Band. Each concert features perennial seasonal favorites and an
assortment of other interesting fare. Tickets are: adults $8, Carlmont
students $5 and Carlmont faculty and staff are free. - Miner

CLASS INFO

Seniors: If you did not fill out a Diploma Order Name Card in your
English class, please come to the Guidance Office and fill one out by
December 21st.  If we do not have a card on file, your name will be
printed on your diploma as shown on our records. - Davis

Seniors (Class of 2007) who wish to submit a technology portfolio in
order to satisfy the Technology Graduation Requirement, must do so no
later than Friday, December 8, 2006.   See your Guidance Counselor or
Mr. Engberg for details. - Engberg
