Sequoia Union High School District Purchasing Department provides centralized purchasing and related services to all departments of District High Schools, and co-operative members.

Through a combination of purchasing power, competitive bidding, and negotiation, we strive to realize the maximum value for every dollar expended without compromising quality or safety.

  • Provide research and documentation for items requested.
  • Review items for safety, and provide MSDS to all users.
  • Place, document, and expedite purchase orders.
  • Maintain stocking levels in district warehouse.
  • Interface with suppliers in the event of a problem.
  • Observe legal bid requirements on large orders.
  • Establish district contracts for commodity items.
