The Technology Graduation Requirement exists to insure that all students graduating from the Sequoia Union High School District are able to perform basic computing operations (word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software, and web browsing / searching). These operations will not only provide students with necessary skills for college, but will also provide them with skills that are critical in today's job market.

While it is the hope of the district that each student takes a technology-related course, it is realized that some students use technology in core classes or cannot fit a technology course into their busy schedules. Therefore, guidelines have been established for students to meet this requirement in an alternative manner.
