Carlmont, M-A,and Sequoia are three out of the 95 high schools designated Distinguished Schools in the State of California.  Schools were eligible to apply for the award based on curriculum, instructional program, support for students and school climate.  The schools will maintain their title of Distinguished School until 2011.
