Comunicado: Keeping you informed! Print E-mail

Parents and students in the Sequoia Union High School District schools have been able to see report cards, attendance records and California High School Exit Exam scores on the district’s website for several years.

In August 2005, the Sequoia district implemented a new website -- Communicado -- to facilitate and improve communication within the district community.Since the end of August, over 4,863 students, parents and teachers have registered for Communicado. As of mid October, 76 per cent of the district teachers are using it.

Graduation Requirements ("District 220") Print E-mail
220 Credits are required for graduation with five credits earned (per semester) for each course completed with a "D" grade or better. To graduate students also must successfully complete Algebra 1 or its equivalent, one year of a laboratory science, and pass the state-mandated High School Exit Exam.

School Accountability Report Cards (SARCS) Print E-mail

The School Accountability Report Card provides parents and the public with information about our schools’ programs. Every school in the State of California produces such a report in response to an initiative passed by California voters in 1988. We have included in this report all information required by the initiative as well as other information we hope you will find interesting and useful. We are proud to report steady academic progress in all the district schools.  The Adequate Yearly Progress report for 2008-2009 is now available here.
