HELP! MY MESSAGE WAS DETECTED AS SPAM...

The Sequoia Union High School District receives nearly 25,000 unsolicited commercial e-mail messages (UCEs or SPAMs) per day. In order to protect our users and networking resources, we are using one of the most advanced and flexible SPAM filters available. It utilizes the latest technological advances in artificial intelligence and mail processing, and continually adapts itself to detect spam and stop viruses.

For the most part it does an exemplary job, but occasionally a message that is not SPAM or unsolicited commercial e-mail is mistakenly blocked by the system.

If your e-mail is blocked by our SPAM filter, we will "bounce" your message; in other words, we will let your internet service provider's system know that we rejected your message and why it was rejected.

Most internet service providers will let you know if a message you sent was bounced by returning it to you with the receiver's explanation (i.e. User not found, Message appears to be SPAM, etc.)

If your message was bounced, and it was not SPAM, you can use the form below to submit your e-mail address to our system for review. Once you have submitted your e-mail address on the form below, you can resend your message through your e-mail client.

Notice: Using the SUHSD directory and/or e-mail systems to harvest or collect information about employees for the purpose of facilitating transmission of any unsolicited commercial email or unsolicited bulk email is prohibited. Using the SUHSD directory and/or e-mail systems for threatening, abusive or harassing (on the basis of religion, gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, age, disability or otherwise), defamatory, deceptive or fraudulent purposes is also prohibited. Inappropriate use of the directory and/or e-mail systems may result in legal action in accordance with Public Law 108-187: CAN-SPAM Act of 2003.
