The Construction Department is involved in projects to renovate and/or construct new buildings to include but not limited to site improvements, classrooms, administrative offices, athletic facilities and theaters district wide. Funding for these projects has come from various bond measures that were approved by voters and state matching funds.

2017 CONTRACTOR PRE-QUALIFICATION INFO

PLEASE NOTE: The initial Prequalification Application deadline is January 15, 2017.  We will be accepting applications throughout the 2017 calendar year.

Complete applications MUST be received in ten (10) business days prior to the date fixed for the public opening or sealed bids and contractors MUST be pre-qualified at least five (5) business days prior to that date.

The 2017 Pre-qualification list will become effective for any projects bidding on or about March 1, 2017.

MEASURE "J" BOND

Measure J is a $165,000,000 bond to create a 10 year technology fund for upgrading computers; to improve energy efficiency; to build classrooms for career, technical and vocational education courses; and to improve, expand, modernize and construct new classrooms and facilities at Carlmont, Menlo-Atherton, Sequoia and Woodside High Schools and other district sites.
